Dental Insurance Providers

Dental insurance can be a great aid to helping pay for you and your family’s dental needs. Unfortunately, many people with dental insurance never take advantage of it. The way it works is that your company/employer decides upon a plan that pays for a percentage of treatment. There are basic treatments such as cleanings, fillings and root canals that are often covered completely or at a high percentage. There are other treatments that may be more complex, such as crowns or bridges, which may be covered at a different percentage.

Most dental plans may have a yearly maximum and a yearly deductible. The deductible must be paid for by the patient before the insurance company will pay any portion of the bill. There may be a deductible for the individual and also another for the family. Each dental plan has different deductible amounts established by your employer.

The yearly maximum is the most that the insurance company will pay for dental service in any one year. Unfortunately this maximum limit has not been raised for many years by most plans.

Also, if you do not use your yearly allowance, it does NOT carry over to the next year. It is a “Use it or Lose it” proposition.  If you have not been to the dentist in a while now is the perfect time to come as you can take advantage of this full year’s worth of insurance before the end of December and in January you get another full year of insurance to use. This is especially helpful if there is a lot of work to be done. Remember, having no pain does not always mean there are no problems!

We encourage you to call us at 716-823-2898 today to schedule your appointment so you can maximize your insurance benefits.

We also accept cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, & Discover.
